Essential Carbine Skills

3 days / 1200 rounds

Want to be fast and accurate? Learn how to run the gun with us. Weapon manipulation skills and the fundamentals of marksmanship go hand in hand to create speed and accuracy. This course is for individuals who seek training beyond what is generally offered and want to perform at a higher level of proficiency. This class utilizes a highly diagnostic approach to the fundamentals with extensive weapon & gear manipulation. Detailed recoil management, trigger manipulation, grip, shooting platform, malfunction clearance, and weapon-transitions will all be covered. Upon completion, students will be performing at skill levels above and beyond their expectations. All Combative Firearms Training L.L.C. classes are highly diagnostic by design and are geared toward the level of the students attending.

This course is designed to fill the needs of the beginning to intermediate shooter; however, this is not “carbines for dummies”. Essential Carbine Skills is the place to start the journey into competitive and/or combative carbine skills. The majority of this program is spent mastering the most fundamental of fundamentals - trigger control. When combined with a solid shooting platform and body position, shooting the carbine fast and accurately is easier than many would have you believe.

This class is also designed for the shooter who has a solid grasp of the fundamentals but needs to bolster their skills while working towards mastery. After the first day mastering the fundamentals, the emphasis will be on making skills more efficient and faster while increasing combat speed and accuracy. No mystery here, just solid understanding on the path to mastery of essential skills.
